Hire models for your next shoot on a signed contract
ModelContracts lets brands, studios and ad agencies hire models without email chains. You post a casting, review applications from verified adult models, shortlist the right faces and book them on a Model Booking Agreement that both sides approve in the panel. Usage rights, hours, overtime, cancellation and the model release are part of every booking.
What you can hire models for
Most brands come to us with a recurring need, not a one-off favor. You describe the shoot once, and the same brief, contract template and release live in your account for the next booking.
- 01 Product photography for web stores and marketplaces
- 02 Seasonal lookbooks and catalog days
- 03 Paid social, video ads and campaign stills
- 04 Studio shoots for photographers working on client briefs
- 05 Trade shows, launches and in-store events
Choose the type of model your brief needs
Every model category has its own casting habits. Start from the page that matches your shoot and you get the right filters, measurements and usage defaults. Lifestyle and advertising work goes through our commercial modeling agency page, product pages and marketplace listings through ecommerce models, runway, lookbook and campaign work through the fashion model agency page. Activewear brands start with fitness modeling agencies, clothing labels casting to their sample size can hire models for clothing brand lookbooks and product pages, teams filming product clips and commercials hire models for video shoot roles with self-tapes, and size inclusive lines use the plus size and petite castings.
- Filter by height, measurements, sizes, city and experience
- Save candidates to shortlists and share them with your team
- Ask for current digitals before you book
From casting to signed booking in four steps
You post a model casting with the date, hours, location, wardrobe notes and the usage you need. Models apply with their portfolio and availability. You shortlist, message inside the panel and send a booking offer. The offer turns into a modeling contract the moment the model accepts, with your rate, hours, overtime terms and usage rider filled in. Nobody signs a PDF attachment from an old thread.
- 01 Post the casting and set the rate you pay
- 02 Shortlist and compare applicants side by side
- 03 Send the offer and get the contract approved by both sides
- 04 Shoot, confirm hours and release payment
Pick usage rights before the shoot, not after
Usage rights decide where and how long you can run the images. Choose the media (web, social, paid ads, print, out of home, TV), the term (6, 12 or 24 months, or perpetual) and the territory (US, North America or worldwide). The model sees the exact usage before accepting, so you never renegotiate after the campaign is live. Extending usage later is a new rider on the same booking, signed in the same place.
- Media, term and territory written into every booking
- Model release stored with the booking record
- Usage extensions added as a signed rider
One agency fee, shown before you book
You set the model's rate. ModelContracts adds an agency fee paid by the client: 20 percent on Starter, 15 percent on Studio, 12 percent on Agency and 10 percent on Enterprise. The fee is visible on the offer before you send it, so finance sees the full cost upfront. Plans start at $24 per month billed yearly. Compare plans and castings per plan on the pricing page.
- Talent fee set by you, never suggested by us
- Agency fee by plan, shown on every offer
- One invoice per booking for your records
Adults only, verified on both sides
Every model on ModelContracts is 18 or older and passes age and ID verification before applying to a casting. Brand accounts are verified too, so models know who they are working for. Content is fashion and commercial only, never explicit. Models never pay to apply, to keep a profile or to get paid. Read how we check accounts on the safety page.
- Age and ID checks before the first application
- Verified brand accounts and a written brief for each casting
- No fees for models, ever
FAQ
How fast can I hire models through ModelContracts?
It depends on your brief and date. You can post a casting the day you create your account, and models apply as soon as it is live. Clear briefs with dates, hours and usage get faster responses.
Can I hire a model I already work with?
Yes. Invite the model to apply, and the booking runs on the same contract, usage rider and release as any other booking on your plan.
Who sets the model's rate?
You do. We never suggest or publish rates. The agency fee from your plan is added on top and shown before you send the offer.
What happens if a model cancels?
Cancellation terms are part of the booking agreement both sides approve. You can reopen the casting and book another shortlisted model from the same panel.
