Male modeling agency for brands that book on contract

ModelContracts is a male modeling agency built for the people who hire. You post a casting, review verified adult male models, book the one who fits, and sign the booking agreement, usage rider and model release in the same panel. You set the rate. The agency fee is shown before you confirm.

Menswear shoot: a male model in a charcoal suit is adjusted at the cuff by a groomer in front of a dark paper backdrop

Built for the teams that actually need men on set

Menswear labels, grooming brands, fitness and outdoor companies, and the studios that shoot for them book male talent every season. Most of them do not need an editorial agency with a phone line. They need a clear brief, a short list of real candidates and paperwork that holds up when the campaign goes live.

  1. 01 Menswear and footwear brands shooting lookbooks and product pages
  2. 02 Grooming, skincare and fragrance brands that need close-up work
  3. 03 Commercial photographers casting a husband, a coworker or a dad in a lifestyle scene
  4. 04 Ad agencies producing paid social and video spots with male leads

Pick the look before you post the casting

Male casting goes wrong when the brief says "male model" and nothing else. In your casting you choose the category, then add height, build, age range, wardrobe sizes and any skills you need. Every applicant shows up with the same fields, so comparing two profiles takes seconds.

  • Fashion and runway, for lookbooks, tailoring and fit-driven work
  • Commercial and lifestyle, for natural, relatable faces in everyday settings
  • Fitness and athletic, for training, apparel and supplement work, covered on our fitness models page
  • Grooming and parts, for hands, beard, hair and skin close-ups
  • Mature men, for brands that sell to an older customer

Fit details belong in the profile, not in an email thread

Men's wardrobe is sized differently, and a wrong guess costs a reshoot. Each male profile carries height, chest, waist, inseam, neck and sleeve, suit size and shoe size, plus hair and eye color. Your stylist sees the numbers before anyone travels, and the booking agreement lists the wardrobe the model brings or receives.

  1. 01 Height and suit size on every card
  2. 02 Inseam, neck and sleeve for shirting and tailoring
  3. 03 Shoe size for footwear and full length shots
  4. 04 Notes on tattoos, facial hair and how fast a look can change

One flow from brief to signature

You write the casting once, models apply, you shortlist and pick. Then the panel builds the Model Booking Agreement from the booking itself: date, call time, hours, the rate you set, overtime, cancellation terms and the usage rider. Both sides approve it before the shoot. Read how the agreement is put together on the modeling contract page, or walk through the whole process in how it works.

  1. 01 Post a casting with your brief and criteria
  2. 02 Shortlist applicants on a board your team can see
  3. 03 Book and sign the agreement, usage and release in one step
  4. 04 Shoot, approve hours and release payment

Usage rights written per booking

A grooming campaign that runs on billboards for two years is a different deal from a single product page. The usage rider records media, term and territory for every booking, so the model knows what he signed and your legal team knows what you own. The model release form is attached to the same booking and stored in your account.

Adult talent, verified on both sides

Every model on ModelContracts is 18 or older and passes age and ID verification before he can apply to a casting. Brands verify their account too. Models never pay to join, apply or get paid. Work is fashion and commercial only. The full process is on our safety page.

What a male booking costs you

You pay the rate you agree with the model, plus the agency fee of your plan: 20% on Starter, 15% on Studio, 12% on Agency, 10% on Enterprise. Plans start at $24 a month billed yearly. Compare plans on pricing.

FAQ

Can I cast male models for a single shoot?

Yes. Post one casting, book one model and close it. Your plan sets how many castings run at the same time, not how many shoots you can do.

Do I set the rate for male models?

Yes. You enter the rate in the casting or booking. We do not publish suggested rates. The model sees your offer and decides whether to apply.

Who owns the photos from the shoot?

Ownership and usage follow the booking agreement and its usage rider. You define media, term and territory before the shoot, and both sides sign it.

Can I book a male model for video?

Yes. Choose video in the usage rider and describe the role in the casting. Hours, overtime and usage apply the same way as for stills.
