Promotional models for trade shows, events and booths

Book promotional models who show up, stay on message and work the hours you booked. On ModelContracts you post a casting for your event, review verified adult talent, and confirm each person on a signed booking agreement with call time, hours, overtime and cancellation terms written down. You set the hourly rate. The agency fee is visible before you book.

Every activation has its own staffing needs

Promotional work is booked by the shift, not by the campaign, and the details change with the venue. A convention booth needs product talk and lead capture. A store tasting needs food handling and patience. A launch party needs presence and crowd flow. The casting form lets you describe each of these clearly.

  1. 01 Trade show and convention booths, including lead scanning and demos
  2. 02 Product sampling and tastings in grocery, liquor and big box stores
  3. 03 Street teams and flyer distribution at festivals and sports events
  4. 04 Launch parties, pop-up shops and experiential installations
  5. 05 Hosting, registration desks and VIP check-in

Shifts, breaks and overtime written into the booking

Event days run long, setup starts early and teardown runs late. The booking agreement records the call time, the number of booked hours, meal and rest breaks, and the overtime terms you choose before anyone arrives. When the event ends you approve the actual hours in the panel, and overtime is calculated from the terms both sides already signed.

  • Call time and location per shift
  • Booked hours and break schedule
  • Overtime rule you set, approved by the model at booking
  • Hours confirmed by you after the shift, before payment

Staff a three-day show without a spreadsheet

One casting can cover several days and several roles. You shortlist talent per role, book each person for the days you need, and every booking produces its own agreement. If you run the same event in another city, duplicate the casting and change the venue. The model casting page explains how castings, shortlists and boards work.

Give your promo staff what they need to sell

A promotional model is the face of your brand for eight hours. Attach the product brief, talking points, dress code and booth map to the booking. The model confirms reading them when signing. For brands that want the same people back event after event, see brand ambassadors.

  1. 01 Product brief and key messages
  2. 02 Uniform or wardrobe instructions
  3. 03 Lead capture process and device handling
  4. 04 Rules for photos and social posts at the booth

Photos from the event floor are covered

Event photographers, booth cameras and social teams capture your staff all day. The usage rider states where those images may run and for how long, and the model release form is signed with the booking. Your marketing team can post recap content without chasing signatures afterwards.

Adults only, verified, with a clear dress code

Every promotional model on ModelContracts is 18 or older and has passed age and ID verification. Bookings are for fashion, commercial and event work, never explicit content. Dress codes are stated in the booking and agreed in advance. Models never pay a fee to apply or to be paid. Read more on our safety page.

Hourly rate you set, plus a flat agency fee

You decide the hourly rate for each role. On top of it you pay the agency fee of your plan: 20% on Starter, 15% on Studio, 12% on Agency, 10% on Enterprise. Event teams that staff many shows usually need more active castings at once, which the higher plans include. Details on pricing.

FAQ

How far ahead should I book promotional models for a trade show?

Post the casting as soon as dates and booth size are confirmed. Earlier castings give you a bigger shortlist and time to share the product brief.

Can I book the same promotional models for several days?

Yes. Book each person for every day you need. Each day appears in their booking agreement with its own call time and hours.

What happens if a model cancels before the event?

The cancellation terms in the signed agreement apply. You can reopen the casting and book a replacement from your shortlist in the panel.

Do promotional models handle lead capture?

They can, if you include it in the casting. Describe the device or app and the process, and the model confirms it when accepting the booking.
