How to hire a model in four steps, from casting to payout

Hiring a model should not take a week of emails and a PDF nobody reads. On ModelContracts you post a casting, choose from verified adult models, sign one booking agreement with the usage rider and model release, and pay after the shoot. Everything happens in your panel, and you see every fee before you confirm.

  1. Post a casting

Describe the job in one form: shoot type, date, city, hours, number of models, looks, sizes and wardrobe notes. Add the usage you need (media, term and territory) and the rate you will pay. You set the rate, and we never suggest one. Your model casting goes live to verified adult models who match the brief, and you can keep it private or invite specific profiles.

    • Shoot types for e-commerce, commercial, fashion, fitness and events.
    • Usage and rate stated up front, so applicants know the deal.
    • Active castings at once depend on your plan.
  2. Shortlist the right people

Models apply with current photos, measurements, experience and their city. You compare them side by side, save favorites to boards, and share a shortlist with your team or client. Every profile belongs to an adult whose age and ID were verified before they could apply.

    • Boards and shortlists for each project.
    • Team seats so a producer and a client can review together.
    • Messages stay in the panel, attached to the casting.
  3. Book and sign

Pick your models and send a booking. The system generates a Model Booking Agreement from your casting: hours, overtime, cancellation, the usage rider and the model release form. The model approves or asks for a change, you approve, and the modeling contract is signed by both sides. Before you confirm, you see the talent fee you set and the agency fee for your plan.

  4. Shoot and pay

On the day, the call sheet and contract are in both accounts. After the shoot you confirm the hours, including any agreed overtime, and the payout goes to the model. The signed agreement and release stay with the booking, so your legal team can find them in seconds when the images go live.

    • Payouts after the shoot, with no fees taken from models.
    • Invoices per booking for your finance team.
    • Releases archived with the images they cover.

The path for models

Models follow the same flow from the other side. You apply free with photos, measurements and experience, pass age and ID verification, and then apply to castings that fit you. When a brand books you, you read and approve the agreement, including what your images can be used for and for how long. You get paid after the shoot. You never pay to apply, to keep a profile or to receive payouts. Start on the page to apply to a modeling agency.

What it costs a brand

Brands pay a plan and an agency fee per booking that depends on the plan: 20 percent on Starter, 15 percent on Studio, 12 percent on Agency and 10 percent on Enterprise. Yearly billing is 50 percent off the monthly price. The full breakdown is on the model booking page.
